The SP&S 700 steam locomotive rebuild/inspection project is now supported in part by a grant from the Oregon Cultural Trust. We received a grant of $17,818 that will go towards work done on the SPS 700’s rebuild through to August 2018.

Also, the Oregon Cultural Trust has a great state tax credit program for Oregon residents and businesses!!!

If Oregon state residents donate to us, and a also donate an equal amount to them using the form in the link below, you will get a full tax CREDIT for the combined amount of the two donations.  So, if you donate a total of $200 between us and the Oregon Cultural Trust ($100 each) and you owe $300 in state taxes, your new state tax debt will be only $100.  This is MUCH better than a tax deduction.
