We are pleased to announce that the Tom E. Dailey Foundation has generously awarded $2500 toward the PRPA’s boiler restoration effort.

The Dailey Foundation meets every quarter, and awards funds to worthy causes such as Parks and Gardens, Disadvantaged Youths, the Arts, Diversity and Railroad Heritage.

For this quarter’s grant awards, the PRPA was awarded one of the few grants for railroad preservation. There were 14 awards given for a total of $34,900. The PRPA is very pleased with the award, and it will help greatly toward our overall fundraising for our 15- year boiler inspection.

We would like to thank the Tom E. Dailey Foundation for their generosity and we will put that money to work toward the boiler rebuild!
